The Movement For Freedom (MFF) marks the 5th anniversary of its founding on May 20. A special meeting should have been held on this occasion at one of the recreation bases near Minsk on the coming weekend. However, the recreation base’s administration has unilaterally terminated the contract three days before the event.
The Minsk City Court didn’t initiate considering the complaint of the Movement For Freedom (MFF) on the refusal to register the organisation’s Minsk city branch. Moreover, this was accompanied by strange circumstances demonstrating once again that there is no independent court in Belarus.
The authorities refused to register the Movement For Freedom’s (MFF) branch in Brest region. Such answer was received by the branch leader Zmitsier Tratsiak from the Brest Region Executive Committee’s General Justice Office.
The General Justice Office’s Board of the Minsk City Executive Committee refused to register the Minsk city branch of the Movement For Freedom (MFF), reported its head Yuras Mielashkievich. Allegedly, the filed documents contradict the Law.
The documents for registration of the Movement For Freedom (MFF) Minsk city branch were filed to the Minsk City Executive Committee’s General Justice Department, informed MFF Minsk city branch leader Yuras Mielashkievich. The same thing will be done by several regional MFF branches one of these days.
